Turkey’s FM Represents Erdogan at Three Seas Initiative Summit in Croatia
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan participated in the 11th Three Seas Initiative Summit held in Croatia, attending on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The ministry noted in a post shared on the social media platform NSosyal that Fidan was present in the Croatian coastal city of Dubrovnik, where he represented the Turkish presidency throughout the summit proceedings.
The Three Seas Initiative is a regional cooperation framework that brings together countries situated between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas. Its main goal is to strengthen collaboration among member states in key sectors such as energy networks, transportation systems, and digital infrastructure.
Established in 2015, the initiative operates at the presidential level and includes 12 European Union member states from Central and Eastern Europe. It is designed to improve connectivity across the region, with a strong emphasis on developing infrastructure that supports economic growth and deeper regional integration.
